Best and Worst Dressed at the Cannes Film Festival 2011

The most glamorous movie festival in the world draws superstars in their finest from all corners of the globe. From the photocalls to the red carpet events, there's no shortage of fab fashion to behold. Check out the stars who wowed and the ones who missed the mark at the Cannes Film Festival 2011!
Uma Thurman in Versace
Jury Member Uma Thurman has yet to disappoint on the red carpet—clearly she intends to impress. At the opening ceremony, she stunned in a white, feather-emebellished versace gown with slinky slit and cutout details. We want to give her an award for this one!

Famke Janssen in Marchesa
While other celebs are going for more summery looks to reflect their South of France locale, Famke Janssen decided to wear a dark and moody Marchesa dress to the Bringing up Bobby party. The dress featured a lace bodice and ribbon detailing. Famke contrasted it with white sandals.

Rachel McAdams in Maxime Simoens Couture
When Rachel McAdams broke out the couture at the Midnight in Paris photocall, we knew it was going to be a good week for fashion. The prim white sheath was embellished with flowers on the shoulder and pockets. Paired with perfectly fresh makeup and blownout hair, it was a solid start for Rachel's Cannes appearances.

Cheryl Cole in Stephane Rolland Couture
Cheryl Cole was white hot in Stephane Rolland Couture at the Habemus Papam premiere. The fitted and delicately draped dress featured a daring, cleavage-baring neckline. Cheryl looked gorgeous with dark lips and a sleek ponytail. Now, if only she had gotten rid of that pesky belt.

Salma Hayek in Gucci Premiere
Salma Hayek has been pulling out all the stops, and pulling from PPR's vast network of designers, for this film festival. On the red carpet at the Midnight in Paris premiere, she dazzled in a silver gown from Gucci's upcoming couture line, Gucci Premiere. The gown looked kissed by moonlight and fit for a princess.
